2 is bollocks. If I get on a train in good time and someone comes on at the last minute and expects me to get up, just because they can't plan their journey. Fuck me. Stand up with all your bags and then next time maybe you will give yourself more time .

Mums are worst, they look at you trying to make you feel guilty, with all their sprogs in tow. Earphones in, head down and smile on my face. The cunts wouldn't give up their seat up for me!

Dog eat dog world. Keep your legs closed and maybe you won't have this problem.

Rant over.

If that happens with somebody directly in front of me at a supermarket check-out, I start loading my stuff into the section currently being scanned (ie that of the person taking the call).

Twice to date, the check-out girl has dutifully scanned everything while I've made an over-exaggerated "excuse me!" to squeeze past behind the person on the phone...then watch the ensuing melee from a safe distance.

No-one has mentioned chewing gum yet - why do people insist on leaving their cast offs everywhere but in the bin?

The (continuing) trend of people beginning their replies to questions, with the word "So"...

Yes, because you've began your reply with that completely unecessary word, I'm going to sit up and take more notice.

Drivers who don't say thank you when you stop to let them go through a narrow part of a road. Infuriates me every time, even though it's done nothing more than cost me 5 seconds of my day.

Cheers GOH. Mumsnet is a source of constant amusement. Some of the posters on there would fit in well over here!

My very, very top irritation is when doing a transaction with someone (in a shop, office etc,) and the phone rings resulting in the call taking priority over the business in progress.

If in reach I will disconnect their call or failing that walk out.

Did a search for "hollibobs" - they don't like it on mumsnet either.

Feelings got quite violent, with one mum saying she'd like to smash perpetrators in the "faceybobs"
